Christian brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the pest control industry. He has served in several positions including residential/commercial technician, termite technician, residential/commercial sales representative, and Service Manager for two of the largest corporate owned companies in the world, and Quality Control Manager in the NYC metropolitan area.
While attending Rutgers University part time, Christian founded his own pest control company (Pest Laboratories) which focused on the commercial industry in northern NJ, NYC, and its outer boroughs for a decade before selling.
He has been a licensed pesticide applicator in NJ since 1989, is a licensed applicator in NY as well as holder of the coveted Supervisory Applicator license in CT. Christian attained ACE accreditation in 2006, was approved as a NYDEC Instructor in 2022, and holds close to 20 secondary educational credentials and certificates related to pest control and safety.
In his present role as Technical Director with NYC based Select Exterminating, Christian works with industry manufacturer reps on new product efficacy field trials, oversees all service management staff, develops, and implements in-house training, oversees field training and service protocols of the service dept., and supports Select Exterminating sales, service, and management to enhance the overall education, quality of services provided while ensuring the company is within State guidelines and regulations.
A consummate professional, Christian attributes his knowledge to coming up through the ranks and the University of Hard Knocks. “Though I attended university part time as an adult in the early 2000s, I didn’t graduate because I’d already been in the industry 14 years and it was extremely hard to grow my business selling jobs during the day, servicing the jobs throughout the late night, and handle the workload of college. I had to focus 100% on my company.”

Mr. Borre resides in northern NJ with his wife of 25 years. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, dining, playing his guitar, music events within NYC, reading biographies on prominent scientists, listening to jazz and classical music, gardening, and stargazing.
